Beans-Beets-Tomatoes
We had our first of these in our garden. I made 10 pints of pickled red beets and we enjoyed our fresh beans. I am excited for the tomato. I picked it a tad early because I didn't want anything to peck at it!! I am excited to put it on zucchini-mozz, or maybe a good old tomato sandwich.
And we pulled out pear tree up and sent it away in black beauty style. We treated it with reverence and respect, but there is a whole in our yard now. Sigh.

I need your zuccini-moz recipe. Sounds heavenly to have a fresh tomatoe. We are a ways way from that. Sorry about the pear tree. You did the right thing by getting the disease out. Now start fresh, they are on sale!
