Derek had a birthday! I can't believe he's 10! He's such a great kid to have around. He is has a very good memory, he's good at running, piano and school. He can really help me out with Lola a lot, and is starting to have fun cooking with me.
My mom painted him this cool painting! We didn't get the best of pictures of it, but it's of Jake and Derek fishing at Tony Grove. It's awesome! He loves it!
Jake wrapped his presents in tyvek house wrap! It doesn't tear or rip. Derek had a challenge getting it open!
Derek wanted Costa Vida for dinner!! It tasted just like the real stuff!
On a related note. Jake and the boys took apart a battery to see if they could figure out how to get it to work in Derek's RC car. They had a great time tinkering!
