Kelli has a birthday

Kelli has had another birthday, oh my goodness. She turned 9 and loved every minute of it!
I had a little 'aaaghh' moment when I had to look hard to find 9 good candles. That's a lot of candles, she's old and I'm older.
She loved the pillow pet from Grandma Luie and Grandpa Doug! She named it Bamboo.
Kelli is a big help around the house and is always up for a game. She got a new game called Sleeping Queens, we've played it a lot already!!
Her favorite color is purple, her favorite song right now is Cello Wars (see previous post).
She loves to eat crepes and homemade noodles.
She wants to be a lifeguard when she grows up.
She learned to drive the snowmobile last week, and loves it! She likes to floor it and scare me in the process.
Her favorite scripture is John 3:16, she has it memorized!
She is enjoying playing Christmas music on the piano (and radio for that matter.)
We love her bunches, and are so glad she's a part of our family.

PS, how old to babysitters have to be!?

Happy birthday Kelli! (Only a little late, right?!?)

We've looked into the babysitter age thing, and as far as Utah goes, there is no hard and fast rule. But, someone in our ward had their son (10 at the time) home alone watching his little sister, and for some reason they had to call 911 (something happened to the sister). They asked how old he was and made some comment to the effect of that being the minimum age to leave kids home with siblings. So, take that for what it's worth!
