Lola loves, loves, loves to be outside and loves the chickens. She is seen here petting a chicken, she follows them around. She knows what chickens and dogs say.
Peek-a-boo!
Derek had a fun birthday, he got a basketball hoop and all his cub scout gear! He is so excited to be a cub scout!
Derek is now 8 and he's a great guy to have around. He's busy with soccer games and baseball practice. He is plugging his way through the magic tree house series. He's starting to really like eating food. He's had tons of fun building his pinewood derby car with Jake. We like having him in our family!
Lola is now a 1 year old. We don't have her statistics yet, but she's 100% busy and fun.
She had way to much help opening presents but didn't mind. She loves her cool chair and her new baby doll. Because she has 2 older brothers Lola knows how to play with a car.
She thought it was pretty cool to eat a cake with her hands! Her birthday was on the same day as Derek's baptism so she had a fancy cake and lots of birthday wishes!
Lola has 4 cute teeth. She isn't even close to walking but she's a speedy crawler. She's a daddy's girl and she loves both of her grandpas. She must be outside when others are outside.
Lola loves to play in the bathroom sink, she loves socks, and she hasn't shown any hand preference yet.
Last but not least. Derek's special day! He was baptized on Lola's birthday and he thought that was super cool. He's a big kid now and he's maturing a lot. We had lots of family support, it was a fantastic day. Way to go Derek!

It waS a great day! Derek is a great kid and we sure enjoy him when he comes up. We love little Lola too. She is getting such a cute personality. Love it!!
