We went on an outing to Antelope Island. We had a great time hiking Buffalo Point, and playing in the Great Salt Lake. Jake, Kelli and Derek did some floating, they said it was pretty cool to float so easily. Jake said everyone should do it at least once in their life. Brady had a blast splashing. This picture is of salt dried to his face from spashing not sand. He didn't like getting hosed of in the outdoor-super-duper-cold-rinse-off shower.
Kelli made some great mud pies with the sand.
Derek loved to try to skip rocks and run around.
Jake and Derek were floating, Kelli came out later for a turn. They were bribed with ring pops but once they did it they loved it. Jake is really great to get things out of their comfort zone to try new things.
We loved climbing rocks on top of Buffalo point. We actually saw lots of buffalo and Antelope and a few lizards with blue tails.
At home, Brady is enjoying his new bottom teeth and has found the lid drawer!! He is starting to really like to play around and becontent with simple things like lids and elastics. He thinks he's pretty funny and is starting to shake his head yes and no.

Wow! Looks like lots of fun. Does the salt in the water make your skin more dry?? Way to go on the canning, you are a super mom! Cute little picturs of Brady. He's becoming a little boy!
I've always wanted to try that (Antelope Island and floating in the GSL). I love the shot of all the salt crusted on Brady's cute little face.
So glad you found us!! Your kids are getting so big and they are ADORABLE!! Great job on all that canning! You are such an awesome woman!
