For my birthday I received a nifty tool called a corn cutter, it's basically a big Bobbi pin with a round knife in the middle. We tried it out a few days ago it was great, much faster. We got 8 bags but we have been eating it for several days in a row. Our next batch of corn is just coming on. It's the Optimum, which so far doesn't seem to be too much different.
25-40% of our corn. They are so gross, but Derek likes to collect them and feed them leaves and corn then abandon them so they die a slow painful death of heat exhaustion and starvation.

And this is my new experiement. Its Pineapple, Peach and Zucchini Jam. Made of shredded zucchini, a can of crushed pineapple and peach jello. However, it hasn't set up yet, so we may end up putting it on crapes with nutella.

I would like to see the corn thing work. I'm impressed you let Kelli cut the corn. We did 103 bags on Monday night. Each with about 3 cups in! Lots of great helpers. Frozen corn is the BEST! That last zuccini stuff looks interesting....
